Membership programs
I build membership programs that transform customers into community. My process starts with direct outreach and community surveying to understand what loyal members actually want, followed by structured beta testing before any full launch. At Elsewhere Brooklyn, I co-developed the venue's membership program alongside a co-founder, leading the community outreach and beta testing phases that shaped the final structure. The program launched successfully and remains active at Elsewhere to this day—a testament to the sustainable foundation we built together. Every program I have built has been designed from scratch, with no existing framework to follow.
Building on the success of the membership program, I conceived and launched Elsewhere's first ever ambassador program in 2022. Inspired by the venue's mission to build a movement for progressive and uplifting culture that was truly for all, I identified a gap between Elsewhere's existing audience and the broader New York City community it could be reaching and built a program to close it. I sourced candidates through social channels and handpicked 15 ambassadors from hundreds of applications to pilot the program. The cohort was intentionally eclectic, spanning ethnicity, gender identity, age, profession, and music taste. Ambassadors received premium event access and exclusive perks in exchange for hosting live events, promoting merchandise, and creating content across their own networks.
The results were immediate. Social engagement including comments, shares, and reposts more than tripled. By the time I left Elsewhere, I had grown the ambassador roster to 50+ members, establishing it as a core driver of community growth, event attendance, and user generated content across the venue's social channels.
