hi, i’m nabila.

puerto rican, and a lifelong new yorker.

i started on the floor of new york nightlife. home & guesthouse, 1oak, six years at marquee. you learn fast how a room breathes, and that the details nobody notices are the ones holding it up.

now i do three things.

i build communities. for venues and companies that want people to stay, not just sign up. usually from nothing.

i dj. house with latin, r&b, funk, soul and disco running through it. joy is always the theme.

i'm a full spectrum doula. birth is the part everyone shows up for. i stay for what comes after, and i cook, because new parents shouldn't have to think about meals on top of everything else. homemade, built for recovery, ready when they are.

different rooms, different rules, same thing underneath: people want to feel seen, and somebody has to do the work of seeing them.

now based in bali, working worldwide.

My Approach

i make people feel seen at scale, and i build the systems that let that survive after i leave.

most of what i've built started with nothing. no playbook, no precedent, no one who'd done it there before. that's the part i like.

the unglamorous part

launches are easy. staying is the hard part. i build for week two, when people quietly decide whether this is for them, because that's where every community is won or lost.

built to outlast me

the membership program i built years ago is still running. that's the measure i care about. not what works while i'm in the room, but what holds once i'm gone.
